The Amarnath Yatra Helicopter Tour Package is the all-in plan on the Pahalgam route. The 20-minute sortie from the Pahalgam helipad to Panchtarni replaces the 32 km traditional trek, and the round-trip ticket is included at the Shrine Board fare of recent seasons, booked the day sales open for the date on your registration slip.
Two nights at Pahalgam give a buffer for weather, and a coordinator travels with the group to the helipad to handle the sortie, the ponies and the return. Pilgrims who prefer the cheaper Baltal sector get the same plan with the night moved to Sonamarg and the price reduced by the fare difference.

All hotels have attached bathrooms, hot water and vegetarian meals. Rooms at Baltal and on the trail are tents run by the camp operators, so comfort there is basic on every category. Houseboats at Srinagar are moored on Dal or Nigeen Lake and reached by shikara.
Helicopter fares and pony rates are fixed each season by the Shrine Board and the district administration and are paid at the published rate.

Helicopter tickets are sold only through the Shrine Board's authorised channel, need the registration number and ID of each pilgrim, and are issued for one date and one sector. Flights run in clear weather between early morning and mid afternoon; grounded sorties are refunded by the operator. Yes. The Pahalgam to Panchtarni round trip ticket is included at the Shrine Board fare of recent seasons (about ₹9,800). If the Board revises the 2027 fare, only the difference is charged, and if the helicopter does not fly the ticket amount is refunded.
The Shrine Board announces the dates in spring. The yatra usually opens in late June or early July and closes on Raksha Bandhan in August. We take bookings with a refundable deposit until the dates are published.
We guide you through the online registration, the Compulsory Health Certificate from an authorised doctor and the RFID card collection, and we match hotel and helicopter dates to the registration slot. The Shrine Board fee itself is paid by the pilgrim.
Pilgrims aged 13 to 70 with a valid CHC. Women more than six weeks pregnant are not permitted. The cave is at about 3,888 m, so anyone with heart, lung or blood pressure problems should take medical advice before booking.
Bad weather or a security pause can hold the yatra for a day or more. The package carries a pony, palki or trek backup and flexible hotel nights. Helicopter tickets for sectors that do not fly are refunded by the operator. Extra hotel nights beyond the plan are charged at the contracted rate.
