Amarnath Yatra Helicopter Package
4 Days / 3 Nights
Srinagar → Baltal → Panchtarni by helicopter → Holy Cave → Srinagar
When does helicopter booking open for 2027, how the phases work, which dates sell out first and how to be booked the morning sales start. The expected timeline and the best dates are below.

The Amarnath helicopter booking date is set each year by the Shrine Board after the operators and fares are approved. In past seasons sales opened in May or June, a few weeks after registration, in phases by yatra date, for a yatra starting in late June or early July and ending on Raksha Bandhan in August.
Because every ticket is tied to a registration date, the practical sequence is: get the Compulsory Health Certificate in April, register for your date, and have the registration slip ready for the day the helicopter phase for that date opens. Opening-week and weekend slots sell out within days.
We keep the registration slips of our pilgrims on file and book their sector the morning each phase opens, then confirm by WhatsApp. Pilgrims who only want the booking done can send us the slip too.
Expected dates based on past seasons; the Shrine Board confirms them in spring.

No. The ticket needs the registration number, date and route. Register first, then book the sector for the same date.
Only through the Shrine Board's authorised online channel and the counters of the approved operators. Tickets are per pilgrim, for one date and one sector, against the yatra registration number. We book them for package pilgrims on the opening day.
About ₹2,800 one way from Baltal and ₹4,900 one way from Pahalgam to Panchtarni in recent seasons. The Shrine Board publishes the 2027 fare with the schedule.
