Helicopter tickets are sold only through that authorised channel and the operators' counters, at the published fare, against the yatra registration number. Any website or agent offering tickets before sales open, at a different fare, or without a registration number is not genuine.

The Board site links to the authorised ticket channel once sales open each season. Registration is done on the Board site or at bank branches; the ticket is then booked on the channel against the registration number.

No. It depends on Shrine Board and security approval each season and on weather every day. In some years no helicopter service was operated. Our packages keep a pony, palki or trek backup and refund the ticket if the sector does not fly.
About 6 km, 2 to 3 hours on foot each way. Ponies and palkis are available at the helipad at rates fixed by the district administration.
