We are a travel agency, not the Shrine Board. We book Amarnath helicopter tickets on the authorised channel for the date on your registration slip, arrange hotels, vehicles, flights and trains from 50 cities, and send a coordinator to the helipad with you.
Amarnath Yatra Helicopter (amarnathyatrahelicopter.in) is run by a Delhi-based tour operator that has arranged pilgrimages to Amarnath, Vaishno Devi, Char Dham and Kailash Mansarovar since 2012. The Amarnath desk books helicopter tickets, hotels at Srinagar, Sonamarg and Pahalgam, Kashmir-registered vehicles and the paperwork for the yatra, and sends a coordinator to the helipad on the darshan day.
We are not the Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board and do not issue registrations or helicopter tickets ourselves. Registration is done on the Board portal or at bank branches, and tickets are booked on the Board's authorised channel at the published fare; our role is to do it for you on the opening day, match the hotels to the date, and look after the trip.

Registrations and helicopter tickets are issued only by the Board and the operators it appoints; we book on your behalf and show the fare and any service fee separately.

No. It depends on Shrine Board and security approval each season and on weather every day. In some years no helicopter service was operated. Our packages keep a pony, palki or trek backup and refund the ticket if the sector does not fly.
About 6 km, 2 to 3 hours on foot each way. Ponies and palkis are available at the helipad at rates fixed by the district administration.
