Pilgrims from Raipur book the Amarnath helicopter in three steps: register for the yatra with a Compulsory Health Certificate from an authorised doctor in Chhattisgarh, buy the helicopter ticket for the same date and route through the Shrine Board's authorised channel when sales open, and arrange the journey from Raipur to Srinagar and the base camp. We do all three for pilgrims who book a package with us, and the ticket booking alone for pilgrims who already have their travel.
The two sectors are Baltal to Panchtarni (about ₹2,800 one way in recent seasons, 7 minutes) and Pahalgam to Panchtarni (about ₹4,900 one way, 20 minutes). From the Panchtarni helipad the holy cave is 6 km on foot, pony or palki. Tickets are issued per pilgrim for one date and need the registration number and ID.
From Raipur, flights reach Srinagar via Delhi (about 4 to 5 hours via Delhi), and the Chhattisgarh Express, Bilaspur-Raipur to Jammu Tawi runs to Jammu Tawi (about 40 hours). Helicopter sales usually open in May or June for the late June or July start, and the first-week dates sell out within days.

Children below 13 and adults above 70 cannot undertake the yatra. Operators may charge extra for passengers above their weight limit. Grounded sorties are refunded.

Yes. Tickets are sold online through the Shrine Board's authorised channel, so you book from Raipur once you have the registration slip for the date and route. We book on the opening day for pilgrims who send us the slip, and bundle flights or trains from Raipur if you want.
Yes. The helicopter ticket is issued against the registration number, for the same date and route. Register first, then book the sector.
By air, fly from Swami Vivekananda Airport (RPR) to Srinagar via Delhi (about 4 to 5 hours via Delhi). By train, take the Chhattisgarh Express, Bilaspur-Raipur to Jammu Tawi to Jammu Tawi (about 40 hours), then 270 km by road to Srinagar. We arrange both.
Online on the Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board portal, or at the designated branches of Punjab National Bank, SBI, J&K Bank and YES Bank in Chhattisgarh. You need a photo, an ID and the Compulsory Health Certificate from an authorised doctor in Chhattisgarh; we send the checklist and the current branch list.
Weather holds and security pauses happen. Tickets for sorties that do not fly are refunded by the operator, and our packages keep a pony or palki backup and flexible hotel nights.
Register as soon as registration opens (usually April) and book the helicopter the day sales open (usually May or June). Opening-week and weekend slots sell out within days.
